Owner Ray originally started the business by himself and from humble beginnings in 1984.

Andy joined the workshop in 1998 as an apprentice, then in 2004 bought into the business as a part owner.

Jake joined the business as an apprentice in 2012. He excelled in his trade during his apprenticeship and won the three-day 2016 Australian National Worldskills competition for mechanics which was held in Melbourne. The competition saw him compete directly against mechanics from all over Australia. He also won multiple other awards during his apprenticeship such as the 2015 apprentice of the year and the 2016 Norm Beaton perpetual award for the best automotive apprentice. In 2017 Jake accepted an offer to purchase a share in the business and we are proud to have him as part of the team.

Lismore Car Repairs has now grown into a team of seven professional automotive technicians.

Lismore Car Repairs has always been at the same convenient location; however it has expanded over the years to accommodate the ever-expanding range of mechanical services that are on offer.

These services include, but are not limited to: logbook servicing, pre-purchase inspections, brake systems, clutches and transmissions, electrical diagnostics, motorcycle servicing and repairs and so much more.
